Aki blue and chartreuse rigged are classic Mahi-Mahi colours, these really come into their own when the Marlin are rounding up and feeding on peanut Mahi.

By default, these are 2-hook, Phillips-style rigged to 2 yards of 100lb clear IGFA-rated nylon monofilament, using 6/0 VMC 9299 permasteel hooks. Other hook sizes and monofilament breaking strains available upon request.

Each rigged fly has our 1.5 inch popper head, which is firm enough to give a good pop, but soft enough to flex when the fish hits allowing a better hook-up. Tried and trusted by some of the best in the sport.
